Day 3 brings us *garden gate & ivy* cowl.
Everyone knows the luckiest vines get to climb all over garden gates! The inside of this reversible cowl is lined with garden gate pinstripes. The outside is rightly rambling with climbing filigree & ivy vines.
This reversible cowl is a good for beginners who want to practice their stranding color-work. It’s not as hard as it looks and its actually a super fun knit! Plus it gives you a warm neck and all that.
Q. How do i win a copy of garden gate & ivy, and how do i win a copy of the book!?
A. Simple! Just leave a comment right here in this post and i’ll pick winners tomorrow!

Stephanie, this is such a cute pattern. I will now stop asking myself “Could Stephanie possibly create anything cuter? Could she *be* any cuter?” Absolutely rhetorical! I love all the different styling in your photos. It’s genius to show the project knit in different colors and the multicolored fringe … whoa! Would that I had this when making music in public. Perfect for sashaying and picking, especially out-of-doors! I needs me some petticoats and bloomers!
Next for the copy of the book:
